About Nell Gottlieb

Nell Gottlieb was born in Birmingham Alabama, moving to Austin in 1980 as a faculty member in public health education at the University of Texas. Upon retirement and moving to Houston in 2011, she changed her art avocation to a full time career.  She has exhibited in numerous curated shows in Texas, has two works in the Hobby Airport Portable Works collection, and is currently in the select Block Program at the Glassell School of Art.  She is President of ClayHouston and a past board member of the Houston-based Visual Arts Alliance.
