Entangled Spaces (Gridded)

Eight inch squares, signifying surveyed quarters of land, are printed with images from the Coosa and Tallapoosa. Some are printed with owls, sturgeon, and butterflies. Some squares are further subdivided by blood-red stitching. All are finished with beeswax. Cast paper grids sit on top of this surface. Ink jet prints on tea dyed paper, acrylic relief ink, cotton embroidery floss, beeswax, paper pulp and fishline, (2025).
